Alison & Graham ~ e-session
Alison & Graham are one of the goofiest couples I've ever had the pleasure of working with - and I mean this in the best way possible! They are constantly cracking jokes and striking crazy poses, and it's very obvious to anyone in their vicinity that they are madly in love.
I had the pleasure of shooting two engagement sessions with them, one back in September of last year, and another in April. Although we got some great images from their first session, this last one was one of my favorites of all time - everyone was more comfortable and relaxed (both in front of and behind the camera!) and we had a blast touring Stephen Ave.
Graham & Ali, I have so, so, so enjoyed getting to know both of you, and am eagerly awaiting your zoo wedding - less than two weeks to go!
Until then, have a peek at their images, and keep your fingers crossed for them that they'll have nothing but sunshine on their big day!

Shutterbird's Website is up and running!
After months of planning and re-arranging and hair-pulling, the new website is up and running, and Shutterbird Photography finally has a shiny new home!
I want to thank each and every person who has been involved in this process - I won't make a big long list, but you know who you are!
Your input, advice, expertise, your kind words and yes...even your butt-kicking, are what kept me going through this difficult process. Without your help and support, I'd be curled up in the corner, banging my head against the wall. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Now click HERE and check out the new site! I hope you enjoy it - I'm quite proud of it!
(The blog will stay the same, and you can access it from the website now, too.)

Cold...as Ice
When Britt told me she wanted snowy conditions for their holiday shoot, we waited...and waited...and waited!! Finally, when the snow came and everything was pretty and white, we knew it was time. The only problem was that we had sub-zero temperatures...-25C!!
Even with the freezing cold, we knew it was our last day to get the shots in time to send out holiday cards, so in the end, Britt, Josh, Brookie and furbaby Maeby toughed it out, bundled up, and played around in the snow.
Brookie was even brave enough for some snow angel action...although afterwards she wasn't too happy about her chilly little bum!
A trip to Timmy's warmed everyone up, and really...how can you not smile when there's donuts around?
Thanks for being such good sports, you guys. The cold was worth it! :o)
It was soo windy on the bridge!
One of my favorites of the day!
Ewww, gross!!
Maeby was freezing!
Girls against boys (Brookie, you totally won!)
I'm not kidding when I say it was WINDY! (Sorry, Britt, I love this one!)
Aren't those big blue eyes gorgeous?

Alina & Johnnie
This Dominican wedding was one of the most memorable trips I've ever been on...and it had nothing to do with the resort or the beach (which were gorgeous), and everything to do with the company. It's not very often that you get nearly 40 people to attend a destination wedding, but when you have a couple like Alina & Johnnie, it's very easy to see why their family and friends made the journey. They have one of those connections that you can feel as soon as you meet them...they radiate happiness and love in everything that they do.
During the ceremony, I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Alina looked stunning (STUNNING!) and I don't think Johnnie stopped smiling after he caught sight of his gorgeous bride.
The ceremony was full of the most heartfelt speeches, a special performance by the beautiful maid of honor accompanied by her awesome husband on the ukelele (yay Jessie & Chris!), and even some clothes swapping near the end of the night!! And no, you cannot see those pictures :o)
At the risk of sounding cheesy, the whole day was pretty magical, and I am honored to have been a part of it.
Ali & JB, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of this amazing week. You and your loved ones made me feel welcome from the very start, and I am so lucky to be able to call you friends.

The couple whispered their vows to each other...so cute!
So happy!
Abbey Road, anyone?
One of my favorite shots of the day!!
See? STUNNING!!!!
Love, love, love this one. Right before things got a little crazy!
