Alina & Johnnie : e-session

I was introduced to Alina & Johnnie by one of my wicked awesome former co-workers (hi Jessie!) and I knew if they were as much fun as the stories I'd heard, then I was in for a treat! 

Turns out the stories were true :o) and I was super excited to spend a few hours with them hanging out around Kensington for their engagement session. 

Here are a few of my favorite images...I hope you both enjoy them! I am so looking forward to joining you and your loved ones in the Dominican - the countdown is on...I know your wedding is going to be one for the books, and I am so very thankful to be a part of it!!

This next one was right after Alina had a little mishap over the back of the bench...thankfully she wasn't hurt, but it did make for some great laughs!

 

Johnnie was a fantastic model, he took direction like a champ and kept us laughing!

Vince.Tracy.Stanley

My wonderful neighbours Vince & Tracy are parents to the cutest baby alive (it's true, I checked).   You met Stanley a few weeks ago, and I think that there is no better way to start a Monday than with his adorable face!

Our shoot took place on a VERY warm late summer evening, and at first Stanley wasn't having any of my camera. We fixed that with a little peekaboo and some paper destruction, and after that he was all smiles!

Baby Stanley

A sneak peek of the adorable baby Stanley. He was such a blast to work with...not only because he's absolutely adorable (that name is too cute!), but his facial expressions were priceless.

Flurry of editing

I'm currently editing in my spare time, which is not nearly as much as I'd like, but I suppose that's the peril of having a full-time job.

Needless to say, right now things are moving a wee bit slow, but in the coming weeks when I'll have my entire day to devote to my passion, I'll have images from Danielle & Steve's wedding, Alison & Graham's e-session, and baby Stanley, my adorable neighbour! Just wait til you see this little man!

This one time...

After many, many, many years of doing nothing but talking about my dream, I am finally going after it.

It's most likely the scariest thing I've done in my life to date...well, other than that time when I gave a presentation to a room full of VP's and my fly was down the entire time, but that's a story for another time!

I guess what I'm trying to get across, is that standing on this ledge, with one foot hanging over, not knowing what lies beneath me? It's the happiest I've been in a very long while.

You know what makes me even happier? That you're coming along for the ride.
